Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.


Upcoming BPC Plan Working Session Date Change

The BPCnet Resource Portal is an initiative by the Computing Research Association with support from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE). CISE is committed to broadening participation in computing (BPC). The following was reposted from the BPCnet Bulletin

In recognition of November 11th as a federal Holiday (Veteran’s Day), BPCnet has rescheduled this year’s final BPC Plan Working Session to Thursday, November 18th from 3- 5 PM. You can review the details of the session and register in advance.

If you are unable to participate in the working session, we encourage you to schedule a free appointment with BPC consultants before the December 1st, 2021 – December 22nd, 2021 proposal window deadline for NSF CISE Core Medium projects.
