The National Science Foundation (NSF) is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Alan T. Waterman Award. This annual award recognizes an outstanding young researcher in any field of science or engineering supported by the National Science Foundation. The candidate should have demonstrated both individual achievements in their field, as well as originality, innovation, and impact on their field. The award was established by Congress in August 1975 to mark the 25th Anniversary of the NSF and to honor its first Director. The goal of the program is to support research of learning technologies for both educational and work settings.
