Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.

NSF Seeks Active U.S. PIs to Participate in their Building Collaborations: U.S. – India Workshop

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is calling for U.S. PIs with an active NSF award  to apply for their Building Collaborations: U.S. – India Workshop. To be held virtually on March 15th and March 22nd from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM US Eastern Time, the workshop seeks to support research collaborations via a joint U.S.-India funding opportunity. Mechanism Design for Improving Hardware Security Orientation Recap

On January 13th, the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) held an orientation webinar as an introduction for a CCC visioning workshop on Mechanism Design for Improving Hardware Security to be held in the summer of 2022 (exact date and location TBD). Hosted by workshop organizers Simha Sethumadhavan (Columbia University) and Tim Sherwood (University of California Santa Barbara), the orientation consisted of pre-recorded presentations and a Q&A with the speakers.
