Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.

Beth Mynatt Honored with 2014 Mobility Star Award

The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) Vice Chair Beth Mynatt has received a 2014 Mobility Star Award, which salutes excellence and advancements in mobility. The award recognizes five mobile technology leaders who have made a substantial impact in the past year creating and advancing adoption or innovative use of mobile technology, and that have helped grow Atlanta’s mobile presence. Mynatt is the Executive Director of the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT), a College of Computing Professor at Georgia Tech, and the Director of the Everyday Computing Lab.
