Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.

Blue Sky Ideas- AAAI-20 Senior Member Presentation Track Open

The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is sponsoring a Blue Sky Ideas Track at the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI-20) in February 2020 in New York through their Senior Member Presentation Track (SMPT). SMPT provides an opportunity for established researchers in the AI community to give a broad talk on a well-developed body of research, an important new research area, or a promising new topic. These presentations should provide a big picture view, in contrast to regular papers, which may focus on a specific contribution.
